We’re Hiring A Social Video Creator!

We’re looking for someone who can capture everyday social moments and also bring a polished creative eye when needed. You’ll be filming and editing short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) for local brands, while also taking the lead on shoots where lighting, framing, and storytelling matter. Most days your phone will be all you need, but when a project calls for more, you’ll know how to make it look sharp and professional.

What you’ll do

  • Film authentic, fun content on-site, usually alongside our team.

  • Edit short-form videos that feel natural on each platform.

  • Level up for higher-production shoots when a creative touch is needed.

  • Stay organized and keep communication clear.

  • Occasionally help with photos, simple graphics, or other content formats.

Who you are (the hard-to-teach stuff)

  • You’ve got a creative eye and know how to frame, light, and shoot so things look good.

  • You’re people-focused, friendly, and make others feel comfortable on camera.

  • You pay attention to social trends and understand why certain clips perform.

  • You think in stories and know how to capture reactions, payoffs, and moments.

  • You take feedback well and enjoy learning new tools and styles.

  • You’re reliable, organized, and care about the details.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience filming and editing short-form videos (please share your portfolio or links).

  • Comfortable shooting on both a smartphone and camera gear (we can provide equipment when needed).

  • Able to work on-site with clients. Editing can be remote.

  • Bonus if you have photography or graphic design skills.

Logistics

  • Type: Contract or Full-time (open to both).

  • Location: DFW/North Texas area for shoots; remote-friendly for edits.

  • Schedule: Mostly weekdays; occasional evenings/weekends for events.

How we’ll know it’s working

  • Clients feel comfortable and excited on shoot days.

  • Your edits get strong engagement and keep viewers watching.

  • Projects stay on track with clear communication.

  • Our content not only looks consistent but also feels elevated.

To apply, Send 3–5 links to short-form videos you shot/edited and a quick note answering:

  1. A creator/brand you think nails short-form and why.

  2. One recent trend you’d adapt for a local restaurant.

  3. Your typical availability.
